Create a quiz in Learner Journey in minutes
Create engaging quizzes in Learner Journey in minutes, transforming existing training materials into interactive knowledge checks with AI-powered generation and customisation.

1. Choose how you want to create your quiz
Start with either a simple prompt or an existing document. For example, enter “The basics of React Hooks”, or upload a PDF, Word document or text file. Learner Journey uses the source material to generate relevant questions and answers.
2. Tailor the quiz to the learner
Before generating, choose the intended audience and, where appropriate, a Learning Need Profile. This allows the quiz to be adapted to the people taking it rather than producing the same generic assessment for everyone.
3. Choose the number of questions
Select how many questions you want, such as five questions for a quick knowledge check or a longer quiz for a more substantial assessment.
4. Generate the quiz with AI
Select Generate Quiz and Learner Journey creates the initial questions, possible answers and correct answers for you. This removes much of the manual work normally involved in building an assessment.
5. Review and edit everything
You remain in control. Give the quiz a title, description and category, and add or generate a cover image. You can edit the AI-generated questions, rewrite answers, add additional options and select which answer is correct.
6. Add explanations
For each question, you can add an optional explanation describing why the correct answer is right. This turns the quiz from simply an assessment into part of the learning experience.
7. Add your own questions
AI doesn’t have to create everything. Select Add Question at any point to build additional questions manually.
The result is a much faster workflow: prompt or document → choose the audience → generate → review → publish.
This is particularly useful for turning existing training materials, policies, course documents and learning resources into interactive knowledge checks without having to manually write every question and answer.
Once you’ve created your quiz, you can insert it directly into pages and learning paths, or simply share it with anyone using a link, provided you’ve set the quiz to public.
