When Thinkific is the better choice
You are a creator selling courses to the public and the storefront, checkout and community are the product. You want a branded mobile app. You need marketing integrations and affiliate tooling built around course sales. Your learners are customers, not staff or members with a compliance record.
When Learner Journey is the better choice
You are training staff, teachers or members and need due dates, completion reporting and certificates that verify. Your programme includes live events with attendance and certificates, or bookings, or coaching practice. You want AI to draft the content and an AI tutor to support learners. You want to start free rather than on a trial, and you would rather keep payment on your own Stripe account.
