Training event management software that knows what happens after the event
General event tools stop at the door. Learner Journey handles registration, payment, check-in and certificates like any event platform — and then carries attendees into the follow-up learning, the assessment and the record, because training is not finished when the room empties.
No credit card required. Free plan available.
- Guests register with a name and email — no account
- Card payments via Stripe, or invoice and purchase-order registrations
- Invite-only and internal-only events
- Check-in, attendance certificates and CSV export
Ticketing tools were built for gigs, not training
Ticketing platforms are excellent at selling seats. They are poor at what training organisers need next: knowing who actually turned up, issuing a certificate that says so, sending the slides and the follow-up reading, and recording that the delegate completed the assessment afterwards.
So organisers stitch it together — the ticketing tool for sales, a spreadsheet for attendance, a design tool for certificates, an email tool for follow-ups, and an LMS if the training has an online part. Each hand-off loses people and data.
Registration to record, without the hand-offs
In Learner Journey an event is a module of the same workspace as your courses, so a training session and its follow-up share one attendee list and one record. Publish the event with a public page, take free registrations or sell tickets, and let guests register without creating an account. On the day, check attendees in from the list. Attendance certificates go out to everyone present. If there is follow-up learning, assign it to the attendees and the compliance report tracks completion.
Organisations that cannot pay by card can register against an invoice or purchase order. Corporate or school-internal sessions can be invite-only or restricted to workspace members. Every event gets calendar invites, reminders and an embeddable registration widget for your own website.
What you get
Free, paid and invoiced registration
Sell tickets through Stripe with the money going to your own account, or accept invoice and purchase-order registrations for organisations that buy that way. Promo codes, complimentary tickets and free places for listed email domains are built in.
Guest registration and custom questions
Attendees register with a name and email and answer any questions you add — dietary requirements, job role, cost code. Answers appear on the attendee list and export to CSV.
Invite-only and internal events
Send token-based invitations for closed sessions, or make an event internal-only so only workspace members can see and register for it.
Capacity and waiting list
Set a capacity; when it fills, new registrations join a waiting list that fills places automatically as people cancel.
Check-in and attendance certificates
Check attendees in on the day. Turn on certificates and everyone checked in receives a PDF certificate of attendance with a public verification link, by email.
Calendar invites, reminders and embeds
Registrants get an ICS invite and reminder emails. Add your Zoom, Teams or Meet link for online sessions, and embed the registration form on your own site.
Built from Learner Journey modules
Each part of this solution is a standard module of the platform. Read about any of them in detail.

- 5

Who it is for
Training providers
Sell places, take invoice payments from organisations and certify attendance without a second tool.
Internal L&D teams
Internal-only sessions with registration and attendance that feed the compliance record.
Schools and trusts
INSET days and trust-wide training with check-in and per-school attendance.
Membership organisations
Member CPD events, paid or included, with certificates members can verify.
Why it works
- One attendee list
- Registration, attendance, certificates and follow-up completion share a single record.
- Payment the way organisations pay
- Card, invoice or purchase order — with promo codes and complimentary places.
- No account barrier for guests
- Name and email is enough to book, so registrations do not die at a sign-up form.

Frequently asked questions
- Do attendees need a Learner Journey account?
- No. Public events accept guest registrations with just a name and email. Guests receive confirmation, a calendar invite and reminders, and can view or cancel their place from a link. An account is only needed to continue into a learning path.
- How do paid events work?
- Connect your Stripe account and set a price; payments go directly to you. You can also accept invoice and purchase-order registrations, which are marked paid when the invoice is settled. Promo codes can discount or make a ticket free, and email domains you list get free places automatically.
- Can I offer early-bird or VIP tiers?
- Each event has a single ticket price today. For different pricing, use promo codes, or run separate events for each tier.
- Does it integrate with Zoom or Teams?
- You add the meeting link to the event and it is included in confirmations, the calendar invite and reminders. There is no direct API integration that creates the meeting for you.
- Can I run internal-only training events?
- Yes. Internal-only events are visible to and bookable by workspace members only. Invite-only events send token-based invitations to named people.
- Can attendees get a certificate?
- Yes. Turn certificates on for the event and everyone checked in receives a PDF certificate of attendance by email, with a public link that verifies it.
