For schools
A staff training platform for schools, not a corporate LMS in a blazer
Schools train staff in bursts — INSET days, twilight sessions, statutory refreshers, a new behaviour policy — and need every one of them recorded. Learner Journey lets you build the content with AI, run the sessions as events, assign the follow-up with due dates and keep the evidence per member of staff.

- Free plan, no card required
- AI turns a policy document into a course in minutes
- Internal-only events for staff sessions
- Certificates with a public verification link
Training happens; the record does not
Most schools deliver good training and evidence it badly. The INSET day runs, the sign-in sheet goes in a drawer, the safeguarding module is completed on a third-party site that emails a certificate to the individual, and the tracking spreadsheet is updated when someone has an hour.
Corporate learning platforms solve this for a company with an L&D team and a budget. They are expensive, built around annual licences and job codes, and assume someone will administer them full-time. Schools need something lighter that still keeps the record.
Build, deliver, assign, evidence — in one workspace
Learner Journey gives a school one workspace for all of it. Content is built in the editor or generated with AI from your existing documents: a page for the new marking policy, a quiz on the updated safeguarding guidance, a slide deck for the twilight session. Sessions are events with registration and check-in. Follow-up is a learning path assigned to staff with a due date. The compliance report shows who has completed and who is overdue, and certificates are issued automatically.
Staff use one login, on a laptop or a phone, and see their own progress and certificates. Leaders see the report. Nobody maintains a spreadsheet.
What you get
AI course creation from your own documents
Paste a policy or describe a topic and get a structured course, a quiz or a slide deck to edit. When the guidance changes, regenerate the section rather than rebuild the course.
INSET and twilight sessions as events
Publish sessions with a calendar invite, capacity and a meeting link or room. Internal-only events are visible to staff alone; public ones can take guest registrations from visiting trainers or other schools.
Mandatory training with due dates
Assign statutory paths — safeguarding, Prevent, data protection — to a cohort with a due date. The report flags anyone overdue or gone stale, and nudges are one click and logged.
Certificates on completion and attendance
Issued automatically as PDFs on your own template, each with a public verification link the member of staff can share.
Pages, videos, slides, podcasts and forms
Every format a school already uses, in one library: pages with embedded video, recorded briefings, slide decks, an audio briefing for the drive home, and forms for sign-off.
An AI tutor grounded in your content
Staff can ask questions of the school's own material — "what does our policy say about mobile phones?" — and get answers cited to the page they came from.
Built from Learner Journey modules
Each part of this solution is a standard module of the platform. Read about any of them in detail.
From a new policy to trained staff
- 1
Generate the course
Upload the policy, let AI draft the pages and a quiz, then edit the parts that matter.
- 2
Publish the briefing
Create an internal event for the twilight session with a calendar invite; staff register in one click.
- 3
Check in on the day
Mark attendance from the attendee list; attendance certificates can be issued automatically.
- 4
Assign the follow-up
Enrol the staff cohort in the learning path with a due date and the mandatory flag.
- 5
Assess and certify
A pass on the closing quiz completes the path and issues the certificate.
- 6
Report
The compliance report shows completed, overdue and stale per person, exportable to CSV.

Frequently asked questions
- Can we import our existing training material?
- Yes. Upload documents, videos and slides into the workspace library and build pages and learning paths around them, or use AI to draft a course from a document. Learning paths can also be exported as SCORM packages if you need to deliver them elsewhere.
- Do staff need to install anything?
- No. Learner Journey runs in the browser and is designed for phones as well as laptops. Staff sign in with email and password or with Google.
- Can we keep staff training private?
- Yes. A workspace is private to its members, and internal-only events are visible to members alone. You choose what, if anything, is public.
- How does it handle statutory refreshers?
- Assign the refresher as a mandatory learning path with a due date. The compliance report shows who is overdue and flags training that has gone stale. Reminders are sent by a leader from the report and are logged.
- What does it cost for a school?
- The free plan covers a workspace, AI content creation and events. The Pro plan at £50 a month adds analytics, team management, custom branding and up to twenty workspaces — which is what a trust would use.
