Most CPD events end with an organiser exporting the attendee list, working out who actually came, mailing certificates one by one and attaching the slides. The follow-up reading is a link in an email. Whether anyone read it is unknown.
For the attendee, the certificate is a PDF in an inbox that a professional body may or may not accept as evidence, and the follow-up is easy to forget.
One event, one continuous record
Learner Journey treats the CPD event, the attendance, the certificate and the follow-up as one journey. Publish the event and take bookings — paid, free, or free for members of your organisation by email domain. Check attendees in on the day. Certificates of attendance are generated for everyone present and emailed as PDFs with a public verification link. Then assign the follow-up learning path to the same attendees; the compliance report shows who has completed it.
Because guests can register without an account, external delegates get the same booking and certificate experience as members. If they later want their record and follow-up learning, they sign up and it is waiting for them.

Frequently asked questions
- Can the certificate show CPD hours?
- Yes — the certificate template and the event description are yours to word, so you can state the duration and any CPD hours the session counts for. Learner Journey does not itself total hours across events.
- Who receives an attendance certificate?
- Attendees who were checked in. Certificates are generated per checked-in person, and someone checked in late receives theirs immediately. Registrants who did not attend do not receive one.
- Can members attend free while the public pays?
- Yes. List your organisation's email domains and anyone registering from them gets a free place; everyone else pays the ticket price. Promo codes and complimentary tickets cover other cases.
- Can we run the follow-up assessment in the same place?
- Yes. Assign a learning path containing the reading and a quiz or assessment to the attendees. A pass completes the path and can issue a completion certificate; the compliance report tracks who has finished.
- Is there a limit on attendees?
- Set a capacity if you need one; otherwise registration stays open. When capacity is reached a waiting list fills places automatically as people cancel.
