A front end without a learning back end
Webflow is what design teams reach for when the website has to be exactly right: a visual canvas with the control of hand-written code, a CMS for structured content, code components, site search, localisation, publishing workflows, analytics and A/B testing add-ons, an MCP server and Webflow Cloud for app hosting. Site plans run Starter (free, on a webflow.io domain), Basic ($15 a month) and Premium ($25 a month, billed yearly, with the CMS); platform plans are Team ($2,500 a month on an annual contract) and Enterprise by contact. Nothing on its pricing page is about learners: there is no course structure, no quiz, no certificate, no progress record.
Learner Journey is the learning back end Webflow lacks, with a front end of its own. AI drafts the courses, quizzes and assessments; learning paths carry due dates and a compliance report; certificates verify from a public link; events take registration, tickets or invoices, check-in and attendance certificates; an AI tutor answers from your content. Its AI website builder generates a branded public site from that — on a subdomain or your own domain — with a page editor for the rest. It is nowhere near Webflow as a design tool: no free-form canvas, no CMS, no custom code, no localisation.

When Webflow is the better choice
You have a designer and the website must be exactly as designed, with a real CMS, localisation, governance and publishing workflows. The learning lives somewhere else — an LMS, a platform like Learner Journey — and Webflow is the marketing front door. You are an agency or a brand team, and $25 a month per site is nothing against what the design is worth.
When Learner Journey is the better choice
You need the learning back end more than the pixel-perfect front end: courses with due dates and a compliance report, certificates that verify, events with registration, invoices and attendance, bookings, an AI tutor. You do not have a designer and would rather have a good-enough branded site generated from your content than a blank canvas. You want to start free and be live this afternoon.

- Can I use Webflow for the site and Learner Journey for the learning?
- Yes, and it is a sensible split. Build the marketing site in Webflow, link to your Learner Journey workspace for courses and events, and embed event registration on a Webflow page. There is no API or single sign-on between them.
- Does Learner Journey have a CMS?
- Not in the Webflow sense. Courses, learning paths, events, podcasts and public pages are the content, and the generated site is built from them. There are no custom collections, fields or templates.
- Can I add custom code to a Learner Journey site?
- No. The site editor controls branding, sections, copy and images; there is no HTML, CSS or JavaScript access.
- What does Learner Journey not do?
- It does not import or play third-party SCORM packages (it exports them), has no xAPI/LRS, offers email/password and Google sign-in only (no SAML or Microsoft SSO yet), supports one ticket price per event, and has no direct CRM or membership-database integration.
