Editable shapes, not a picture of a diagram

Most AI diagram tools hand you an image. The moment one label is wrong, you start again with a new prompt. Here the diagram is generated as ordinary whiteboard shapes and connectors: drag a box, retype a label, recolour a branch, delete the parts that miss the point. Arrows stay bound to the boxes they join, so moving a node re-routes the line instead of stranding it.

Mind maps for opening a topic up

A central idea with branches radiating out and sub-points fanned beyond them, colour-coded per branch so the structure reads at a glance. Useful at the start of planning a course or a lesson, when you want the shape of a subject before you commit to an order.

Flowcharts that handle decisions and loops

A process laid out top to bottom, with terminators, steps and diamond decision points whose branches are labelled with the condition that takes you down them. A step that sends you back to an earlier one is drawn as a curved return rather than a line straight through everything in between.

Timelines for anything that happens in order

Events along a spine, alternating above and below it, each with its period and a short supporting note. Works for history, for a project plan, or for the sequence of a regulation changing — anything where the order is the point.

    Concept maps with labelled relationships

A top-down hierarchy running from the most general concept to the most specific, where every link carries a phrase — causes, requires, is a type of — so the diagram reads as a set of sentences. Cross-links between separate branches are drawn dashed, which is what makes it a concept map rather than a mind map.

Decision trees that end in outcomes

Branching questions leading to results, laid out so siblings never collide and each parent sits centred over its children. Every branch is labelled with the choice or condition that leads down it, so the tree can be followed by someone who was not in the room when it was made.

    SWOT analyses and 2x2 matrices

A four-quadrant grid, either a full SWOT with strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, or whichever two axes suit the question — urgency against importance, effort against impact. Each quadrant comes filled with points rather than as an empty template for you to complete.

    How it works

    1. 1

      Pick the diagram type

Choose from mind map, flowchart, timeline, concept map, decision tree or SWOT and matrix.

    2. 2

      Describe the topic

One line is enough — a subject, a process, a decision or a thing you want analysed.

    3. 3

Edit it like anything else on the board

The diagram lands on your whiteboard as shapes you can move, retype, recolour and build on.

    Frequently asked questions

Is the diagram an image or can I edit it?
It is fully editable. Diagrams are generated as ordinary whiteboard shapes and connectors, so you can move nodes, rewrite labels and delete or add to any part of it. Connectors stay attached to their shapes when you drag things around.
    What diagram types are supported?
Mind maps, flowcharts, timelines, concept maps, decision trees, and SWOT analyses or other 2x2 matrices.
What is the difference between a mind map and a concept map here?
A mind map radiates from one central topic and its links are unlabelled. A concept map is a top-down hierarchy where every link carries a relationship phrase, and it includes cross-links between different branches.
Can I export a generated diagram?
Yes. The board it sits on exports as a PNG or an SVG, so a diagram can go into a slide deck, a handout or a document.
Can I generate a diagram onto a board other people are working on?
Yes. Diagrams are generated onto a shared whiteboard, so anyone with edit access sees it appear and can start changing it with you.

    Ready to get started?

Diagram generation happens on a whiteboard, which is a premium feature, and each diagram uses a small number of AI credits. Signing up and building content is free. See plans and pricing.
