Collaborative LMS versus learning platform with events
360Learning's idea is that the people who know the work should make the training, quickly, inside the LMS — co-authoring, reactions and comments on every course, a "collaborative learning" loop that surfaces what learners need next. Around that it has what an enterprise LMS is expected to have: a SCORM player, ILT and virtual sessions, SSO, Teams and Zoom integration, gamification, skills-based paths, HRIS integrations and dedicated support. It is priced per user — from $8 per user per month for a Team plan of up to 100 users — with Business and Enterprise plans on annual contracts by demo.
Learner Journey shares the "experts make the content" instinct but puts AI in the chair: bring the material and the course, quiz, assessment, slides or podcast is drafted for you. It then goes where an LMS usually does not — events with public registration, tickets or invoices, check-in and attendance certificates; one-to-one bookings; AI coaches for spoken practice; certificates with a public verification page; a public learning site. It is priced per subscription, not per user, and has no SCORM import, no SAML SSO and no HRIS integration.

When 360Learning is the better choice
You are a mid-sized or large organisation with hundreds or thousands of employees and an L&D team that wants subject-matter experts co-authoring inside the LMS. You have a SCORM library. You need SSO, HRIS integration, skills taxonomies and gap analysis, and an account manager. Per-user pricing on an annual contract is normal procurement for you, and onboarding services are welcome rather than a burden.
When Learner Journey is the better choice
Your learning includes events people register for — CPD sessions, workshops, member evenings, public courses — and you want tickets or invoices, check-in and attendance certificates on the same record as the online learning. You want certificates a third party can verify from a link. You run bookings, coaching practice or a public learning site. You are a school, a trust, a professional body or a small team that wants to start free this afternoon rather than after a procurement cycle, and would rather not pay per user.

Frequently asked questions
- Is Learner Journey a collaborative learning platform?
- Workspace admins build content together and members post, comment and discuss on the workspace timeline and in groups. It does not have 360Learning's per-course reactions, co-authoring requests or the collaborative-learning loop; its collaboration is around the workspace rather than inside each course.
- Can Learner Journey import my 360Learning courses?
- Not as SCORM — Learner Journey does not play third-party SCORM packages. Export the source material and regenerate with the AI course creator, then edit.
- How does pricing compare?
- Differently shaped. 360Learning is per user, from $8 per user per month at the time of writing, with annual contracts above the Team plan. Learner Journey is free, or £10 or £50 per month per subscription, with no per-user or per-admin charge. For 100 learners the difference is large; for 10,000 it depends on what you need.
- What does Learner Journey not do?
- It does not import or play third-party SCORM packages (it exports them), has no xAPI/LRS, offers email/password and Google sign-in only (no SAML or Microsoft SSO yet), supports one ticket price per event, and has no direct CRM or membership-database integration. If any of those is essential, say so on a demo and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
