Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (ages 11-18).
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Maths curriculum, ensuring it is stimulating and meets the needs of all learners.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, resilience, and a love for learning.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
Undertake pastoral duties, providing guidance and support to students as a form tutor.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent.
A relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
Proven experience teaching Maths at Secondary School level, up to and including A-level (or equivalent).
Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
A commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching methods.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
